Jessica Reid
I first started my career in graphic design freelancing for publications such as Canadian House and Home and The Globe and Mail's Report on Business Magazine, eventually I established myself as an art director during a seven-year stint at Redwood Custom Communications in Toronto. I then co-founded the online decor and lifestyle title Covet Garden where I was responsible for the overall look and layout of the site and the related print publication. My contribution included art directing photoshoots, sourcing product for shopping pages and telling the story of the featured homeowners in a visual and engaging way. This path naturally led me to interior design where I continue to help my clients tell their stories in the design of their homes. My goal with every project is to design a space that not only meets the functional needs of my clients but also brings beauty and joy into their lives. I understand the constraints of budget and time and aim to make the whole process as transparent and comfortable as possible for my clients.
I am interested in all aspects of design and love to travel, make things, collect fabric and am endlessly inspired by film, books and magazines.
